Map to the 154th NY Monument at Chancellorsville
The monument stands south of and adjacent to the eastbound lanes of Route 3 (the
Orange Turnpike), about a mile west of the Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor
Center. The monument is located at the edge of the field in which the 154th New
York fought on the evening of May 2, 1863, and, like the regiment's line, faces
the west.
Just to the East of the monument is a field on which Dowdall's Tavern once stood
as well.
